   Cambodia's artistic tradition is one of the most ancient and sophisticated in Southeast Asia. Almost lost under the Khmer Rouge regime, the many branches of Cambodian art are flourishing once again as Cambodians enthusiastically reclaim their heritage.

   We have created the Arts & Crafts itinerary to showcase this resurgence in culture. Visitors can observe novice dancers being trained in the rigorous discipline of Apsara dancing at the school of Fine Arts, followed by a visit to the private workshops of the Prayuvong Buddha Factories, which devote themselves to restoring Buddha images destroyed by the Khmer Rouge. The following day includes an excursion to Koh Dach, an island famous for silk production. From Phnom Penh, visitors continue to Siem Reap, where they will tour a silk farm and basket-weaving villa.
